Capo Sperone is a collection of three resort villas set along the coast of Sant’Antioco. The architecture is embedded in the landscape while responding robustly to the exposed Mediterranean climate. A continuous band of service spaces forms a protective buffer along the north-western entrance elevations, shielding the interiors from persistent winds, while living areas open towards the sea. An architecture of walls breaks down the villas’ long horizontal forms, creating a sense of depth and enclosure. Between them, courtyards draw daylight, planting and sheltered outdoor space into the heart of each residence.Â
