King’s College School in Nassau reimagines educational architecture in the Caribbean. Replacing conventional perimeter layouts, the campus introduces a unified base structure from which classroom blocks rise at staggered heights—an architectural metaphor for the Bahamian archipelago.
The New Engineering Building creates a new focus to the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment within the historic Upper Campus of UCT. The elevations appear as tectonic plates in response to the visual texture of Table Mountain. Large openings connect the mountain to a variety of learning and research spaces, including the Faculty garden.
