Noom La Reserve

Set within the vast desert landscape of Dakar, Noom La Reserve is a luxury resort where architecture and nature exist in harmony. The villas are uniquely embedded within a berm, minimizing visual impact while offering a secluded, immersive experience. Framed by ancient baobab trees, the design prioritizes privacy and seamless integration with the land.

Expansive glazing dissolves the boundary between inside and out, capturing sweeping views of the undulating terrain and adjacent golf course. Deep overhangs and screened facades provide protection from the intense Senegalese sun, while mud-plastered walls enhance thermal performance, reinforcing the villas’ connection to the earth. The design received high praise from both the client and the World Architecture Festival (WAF) for its refined balance between luxury and natural simplicity, offering a tranquil retreat within the desert landscape.
