Situated on Lagos’s “Good Beach,” this resort development explores the relationship between urban retreat and coastal leisure. It comprises two interrelated zones: a private villa and a more public beachfront.
The villa is defined by sweeping terrazzo walls and perforated screens that filter light and frame views, creating an intimate world of courtyards, water elements, and lush tropical planting. This inner realm inverts conventional beachfront typologies by turning focus inward rather than outward. The design opens and fragments toward the shoreline, creating layered transitions between formality and informality. Repeating architectural elements, such as patterned screens and low holding walls, establish continuity across the site, while softening the division between the villa and beachfront.
The result is a dynamic, gradient experience of privacy, hospitality, and coastal living.
