South East Asia Projects

SAOTA’s lifestyle-led architecture resonates with South East Asia’s lush landscapes and coastal settings. From private villas to multi-residential developments, our work brings refined spatial experiences and barefoot luxury to tropical environments—balancing contemporary design with nature through close collaboration and a deep understanding of place.

Uluwatu

Nestled atop a cliff, with a sheer drop to the majestic southern Bali coastline, this split level retreat responds to the local tropical climate with generous sheltered outdoor spaces, and cohesive finishes to merge with the local Uluwatu terrain.

Adam & Eve

This little nest of luxury intends to shelter honeymoon couples when they’re not out exploring the beautiful island of Koh Samui. Perched on a very steep site overlooking the ocean, the units are u-shaped protective shells scattered in an untouched ‘eden-like’ landscape, the interiors playing on the themes of purity and uncluttered comfort.
