SAOTA Director, Greg Truen, was invited as a guest speaker at the Nigeria BuildExpo 2019. Now in its fourth year, the international summit is focussed on construction, building materials, design, and technologies.

Organised by Elan Expo, this year’s exhibition was hosted at the end of June at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

Attendees included 81 exhibitors from 10 countries – Italy, China, Turkey, Spain, Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria, Russia, India and UAE – and 4 200 visitors from across the globe. 420 business-to-business meetings were facilitated, 11 certified workshops were presented with 15 respected speakers and over 400 delegates joining.

 

Greg delivered a speech to delegates on improving efficiencies of project planning with the use of integrated technology solutions that empower all parties in the building process. The keynote address was presented by Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Governor of Lagos State and other speakers included Mansur Ahmadu Kurfi, President of ACAN and Tosin Oshinowo, Principal Architect at cmDesign Atelier.
