Connection to the outdoors was paramount in this Hamptons summer retreat. Capitalizing on the width of this remarkable site, a series of courtyards intersperse pavilions such that every room on the ground floor is bound on at least two edges by the outdoors. Mid-century modern lines define the slender edges of the roof, reinforcing the notion of a series of pavilions.
