Situated on an island away from the frenetic energy of Dubai, the core of this design is a sense of calm. From the entrance, where bush-hammered walls float reflected over pools, broad steps draw the visitor into a central gallery defined by a double height courtyard. Beyond, formal rooms lead out to an extensive and beyond that an unfenced beach slopes down to the sea. SAOTA and ARRCC worked together with a private client and their collaborative potential is highlighted in rich and eclectic interiors.
