A luxury villa situated on Frond G, Palm Jumeirah, that offers a new and exciting architectural language in relation to its luxury housing context; to serve as a holiday rental or a family home. This flexibility required the design to be able to adapt to multiple iterations of use for diverse inhabitants during its lifetime.
Based on the concept of Urban ‘Erosion’, the design relies heavily on a 3-tier, integrated landscape, where the lines between the exterior and interior are blurred by the ‘carving’ out of building masses which are articulated in Red Agra Sandstone. The cavernous interior plays with alternating solid and void, allowing the upper bedroom floors to loftily float above the ground floor’s opulent entertainment spaces.
